What is the course of gynecologist’s consultation, indications

Consultation of gynecologist will help to identify the problem at early stage, appointing a proper treatment program in the future. The earlier the trouble is eliminated – the less consequences it will leave behind in the end. Consultation of gynecologist consists of several stages:

Primary conversation with the doctor – at this stage the patient tells about the purpose of her visit and other nuances that can help the doctor decide on further actions.
Patient examination – gynecologist works on the gynecological chair, using exclusively sterile disposable instruments.
Examination of mammary glands for the presence of palpation – it is carried out if necessary.
Result – specialist receives the results of the survey, which forms his/her opinion, prescribes treatment or sends the patient for additional testing.

Indications for visiting a gynecologist may be different: unstable sexual life with frequent partner changes, mechanical injuries, deformation of intimate organs, diseases, malfunctions of the menstrual cycle, delay, pregnancy planning or planned examination.
